Frequently asked questions

What is the process for starting a design project?

At the beginning of each project, I send a questionnaire to the client. This helps me quickly get familiar with the project details and ensures I understand your needs. The questionnaire is straightforward and will only take a few minutes to complete.

How do you approach wireframing for a project?

For landing pages: I create a low-fidelity wireframe using UX practices and available information.

‍For full websites: I start by creating a sitemap (site architecture). Once we finalize the sitemap, I proceed to the wireframe phase.

When does copywriting get involved in the design process?

After we finalize the wireframes, a copywriter (either one I recommend or one you provide) will begin working on the text. This phase overlaps with the high-fidelity design phase, where I begin refining the visual design.

Do you provide a style guide?

If needed for development purposes, I provide a style guide to ensure consistency in design implementation and easy handover for developers.

How do you communicate during a project?

Communication is primarily asynchronous through Figma (where I leave comments directly on the designs) or via my Slack channel. I keep you updated on progress, and if necessary, I may record a Loom video to provide further explanations.
